Installation Instructions
Shall be installed in accordance with the recommendations and specifications of the roofing material manufacturer.
Prepare all welding surfaces by cleaning with membrane cleaner.
Place flashing over penetration and mark where top of pipe is telegraphed on riser and remove.
Approximately 1/2” above the mark, cut-to-size the top opening.
Again, place flashing over penetration and mark top of flashing on pipe and remove.
Apply a bead of water cut-off mastic (provided by others) completely around the penetration just below the mark.
Replace flashing over the penetration and heat weld the base flange to the deck.
Install stainless steel hose clamp at top of flashing riser providing constant compression on the sealant.
After the flashing has cooled, probe welds to verify a secure bond.
Apply cut edge sealant (if applicable) around edge of base.
